Have Faith In The Spiritual Heart

Posted by On July - 16 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

After more than a month, I dropped by at my shares and futures trading office. In the last one month, the market has risen up quite a fair bit. As such, many of my fellow traders were surprised that I missed out on the opportunity. Those who were close to me knew that I decided to take a break following my heart: they too ridiculed me. They said that they made quite a substantial amount of money, some 30%, some 50% and a few actually made 100% returns. I congratulated them for making the money. As they continued to tell me of the opportunities that I had missed, I just smiled and kept quiet.
The reason was, prior to the market run-up, my partner and I invested quite a fair amount of money in a particular stock, as we saw that it was undervalued and chart wise it had a good chance of moving up. Over the last three to four weeks, the stock rose 200%! I actually went to office today to collect the sales check.
Now, this is where the greatness of the spiritual heart lies: the spiritual heart knows what the mind does not know. I definitely did not know that the stock would rise that much. At that moment, when I made the decision to leave trading for a while to concentrate on article writing , my thoughts were focused on my goals: however, as my heart was gently telling me to focus only on the articles for the moment, the mind was racing around giving me all kinds of excuses on why I should continue to trade even though on that day Nature made everything impossible for me to trade.
I decided to listen to the spiritual heart and Nature! It was a pretty easy decision but tough to make because the educated mind was constantly trying to sabotage the decision made by the heart; to the mind it was simply an illogical decision! It constantly said that by trading I would have a chance to make money whereas the blogs would only mean giving out information without earning anything at all! But as I said earlier, I stuck to my spiritual heart and Nature. I guess they have rewarded me well. As per Law of Energy Returns Back to Source, my sincere efforts to share my knowledge, insights, and experiences through the articlesb with the sincerest intention to create awareness on the Seven Basic Laws of Nature, is returned back to me by Nature through happiness, health and wealth in my life; that is how it works my friends!
However, please become AWARE that it takes years of practice to humble oneself to listen to both Nature and the spiritual heart. Most of the time, people think they are listening to the spiritual heart but ACTUALLY they are more influenced by the emotional heart! And this only leads to utter chaos! Normally, those who are emotional often make all the wrong decisions.
The language of Nature and the spiritual heart has been around for a really long time; but in the pursuit of building and nourishing the intellect, Nature and the spiritual heart is slowly being forgotten. Please understand that I am not saying that the intellect is not important. On the contrary, it is VERY important! However, the intellect must always be guided by the spiritual heart.
The key is to reduce talking and do more LISTENING!

God’s heart exists within your own heart, and as you travel along the pathways of spiritual life, your own divine nature begins to emerge and awaken. As your spiritual essence becomes more manifest, your heart begins to awaken and to seek the way Home.

A heart that longs for love, and that longs to find the way home to God, opens a pathway of light from the human, embodied self to the soul that exists eternally in the realms of spirit. This important connection creates a funnel that can transmit knowledge, love, light and comfort from the realms of spirit to your embodied self. Truly it can be said that longing is the path Home to God, for it activates all the forces of heaven and Earth to infuse you and your daily life with God’s light and love.

Spiritual longing not only activates spiritual growth and transformation, but it also activates the healing of any and all inner blockages to love that may exist within your being. Pain, resentment, anger and blame that are directed towards others eventually sap the life force from our own inner light, and so at some point on the spiritual journey, we are led to the path of forgiveness.

Forgiveness is a state of being that emerges from love. Forgiveness cannot be forced, especially if you have been abused, neglected, or treated cruelly, or have suffered trauma at the hands of others. In this kind of situation, healing needs to progress in stages, first by allowing yourself to feel all the emotions that resulted from the trauma.

This first stage of forgiveness involves not an immersion in the feelings, but an allowing of them to emerge, within a space of safety. The emotions need to be held in the container of God’s love. For many, this is best done with the support of others who can hold a healing space by offering you a loving and steady presence. This stage can last for a while if the traumas run deep, or can be passed through more quickly if there is sufficient light and love present to help in the transformation process.

After this phase there is a kind of lull, and a sense of emptiness, as the emotions that were held inside for so long are no longer existing within you. Like so many phases of spiritual life, one must first be emptied out before being filled with the new.

After this phase has passed, a sense of new life and hope begins to emerge naturally from the cleansing effects that happened during the period of emotional release. These emerge as seeds of the new that spring into consciousness or even appear in daily life as harbingers of a new day to come.

During this time, opportunities are given for you to review the past with fresh eyes. You may come to a deeper understanding of the meaning of the painful situations that you experienced. At this point, the opportunities for forgiveness begin to emerge. It is important to understand that these cannot be forced or manufactured.

Forgiveness can only come from a heart that is open and that has released the burden of anger and resentment fully. What this means is not that you will never feel anger or resentment again, but that you are no longer holding onto the anger. Instead, you are seeking to return to love, harmony and wholeness. You want to be released from the past so you can be free to live, love, and move forward into the new.

There are some things that we experience that are so terrible that it does not seem possible to forgive or heal from them. In this kind of situation, extra care is needed to not place judgments upon yourself. If you have experienced a severe trauma, you may not be able to experience forgiveness quite yet. You may need more time to go through the emotional healing process, and to pick up the pieces of your life, and to go deeper with your relationship with God.

To have the intention to forgive is the first step towards a complete freedom and release from the trauma. In some cases it may take time to arrive at this point. Once you are ready to be willing to forgive, your healing process has already begun.

Spiritual longing is the desire of the heart to be free, to be at one with the divine nature of our own being. Spiritual longing activates a profound process of transformation and healing that is capable to freeing us from even the deepest of traumas. Forgiveness, when it comes, is a blessing of love that releases us from the chains of the past and opens a new doorway to healing.

Forgiveness is one of God’s greatest gifts, and is greatly needed in today’s world. Your own healing process not only benefits you, but all those you come in contact with. As a freer and more loving being, you become more capable of being a presence of love and light for others during these very challenging times we live in. In this way, you contribute to the healing of the world, one heart at a time.

How should one approach the idea of religion?

As you continue on your journey to success and happiness, consider the importance of your union with God. God is the great architect of the Universe and you are simply part of his plain. Success, wealth, happiness, peace of mind all are derived from your relationship with God. Religion cannot be discounted as you develop your success plan, for it is one of the five areas that makes for a complete life.

Should you chase after religion?

Should religion be sought after as you would any other high priority area of life? After all, the terms “objective” and “barriers” and “strategy” procedures apply to spiritual as well as to material enrichment. As you approach spiritual ideology, you must crystallize your thinking as you would for any other top priority goal. You should ask of yourself your own questions like: should my objective include getting closer to God? Should I go to Church or to my special place of worship more often? How can I find a more heartfelt peace of mind? Should I see more of my Pastor, Priest or Rabbi? If I am going to connect with the material world, shouldn’t I also connect with God? How do I go about seeking spiritual liberty? What are my barriers? When should I begin my spiritual campaign?

Or What is spiritual?

Naturally, the definition of what constitutes “spiritual” varies from individual to individual. Each of us can make use of an opportunity to clarify our own thinking.

In addition, the meaning of life can encompass other areas besides the purely religious. For instance:

.

Some people write their thoughts in various forms. Some paint pictures. Some do needlepoint. As they say, “What’s your bag?” Creativity isn’t limited to writing or painting. How about photography, woodworking, restoring classical automobiles, playing the guitar, keeping a journal? The list stretches from here to the stars. It’s up to you to find your place as you seek tranquility.

There are no holdbacks when taping into the power line of wealth and success. You must be engaged, plugged in, so to speak, putting forth a total effort for success. You must be connected to the spiritual power line for your light to fully shine.

Happy Trails

5 Keys to Spiritual Maturity

Posted by On July - 15 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

Spiritual maturity, or spiritual formation, is God’s call to every believer (Ephesians 4:11-16). We are “no longer to be children,” but are to “grow up in all aspects into him who is the head, even Christ” (Ephesians 4:14-15).

Five key areas are essential to the development of spiritual maturity:

First, biblical knowledge. No verse better sums up the reason we need to know Scripture than II Timothy 3:16: “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” Based upon that verse, we find our charge as Christians in II Timothy 2:15: “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.”

Second, godly character. In chapters such as Matthew 5-7, I Corinthians 13, and Romans 12, we find entire dissertations on the nature of a godly life. Yet Galatians 5:22-23 captures the whole: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

Third, sanctified mind. As we work out our salvation, it touches all parts of us, and the mind is key. Colossians 3:2 states simply, “Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.” And Romans 12:2 exhorts us to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Fourth, spiritual discernment. In I Thessalonians 5:21-22, we find these closing words: “Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil.” And again in Hebrews 5:14, we find spiritual maturity linked to discernment: “But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.”

Fifth, willing obedience. Jesus stated simply in John 14:15, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”

These points can be summed up further: spiritual maturity is living a life characterized by right teaching and right living. The truth of the Bible should be demonstrated in every area of our lives: in our thoughts, our speech, our hearts, and our actions. When we do so, we will truly achieve “the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13).
